Widespread Killings, lootings and conversion today by force or under fear across borders by foreign raiders of the past, can neither be possible nor practical. Killings and murders by bombs, landmines/modern deadly armament, etc. in the excuse of social inequality, poverty and political differences, etc., by clandestine methods can’t go unhindered and unpunished. Such acts, named terrorism today, are by highly motivated skilled and often educated youth, continuation of same old Jihad in other forms, through out the world wherever Muslims have substantial appearance. Many well intentioned and educated Muslims complain that due to acts of some, entire Muslim community is blamed and dubbed fanatic. But in retrospect; is it not correct to say that “All Muslims may not be terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims”. Why can’t Muslims in their 57 Islamic countries allow the same democracy, secularism and human rights – which they demand in the countries they live? Why don’t Muslims faithfully observe and follow the laws of land and develop national spirit wherever they live instead of demanding special dispensations and speak of Ummah? If any act inimical to Islam and its Role-Model Prophet Mohammed hurts them, why don’t they condemn and stop acts which hurt the feelings of other religions? Why don’t they feel concerned and prevent attacks on other’s places of worship and respect like Bamian Buddha in Afghanistan; Indian Parliament; Varanasi; Ayodhya, Raghunath Temple in Jammu, Amarnath Yatras, Akshardham, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh and so on? Why do they try to grow in population with evil intentions and upset the demography of other countries? Why don’t they produce such number of children whom they can’t educate, bring up and manage-instead have uncontrolled large numbers leading to poverty, backwardness, and then look for mercies from others? Why can’t Muslims remove write-ups in their religious scriptures which hurt Non-Muslims and thus create dissension and ill feelings? Why can’t they open up and discuss their scriptures on scientific basis as others do? Future of this living planet, unique in our universe, among billions, depends on which way Islam takes turn. In this age of nuclear and mass-destruction armaments, good intentions and well-meaning acts only can save this earth. Similarly, one wrong step by some ill-informed fanatic can cause widespread destruction. God has privileged us all, this unique world and same soul. It is up to us, if we want to save or destroy it.
