Our country, in spite of shedding about 30% of land, during partition in 1947 to satisfy Muslims who did not want to live with Hindus, has even today the largest number of Muslims in the world after Indonesia, more than those in Pakistan or Bangladesh. Against long term agenda of converting Dar-UI-Harab into Dar-ul­Islam, and concept of two-nation Theory; our liberal Western educated Leaders, ignorant of India's ancient rich culture, not only did not insist for exchange of population but also allowed several Muslims to return to India as they found conditions too-tough to settle in Pakistan. Such exodus in large number, is still continuing, particularly on eastern borders from Bangladesh in Connivance several sections of our own Indians resulting in major changes of demography. Status of Majority and Minority is based purely on religion. Every religion is supposed to have three aspects (i) Relation between man and God (ii) Relationship between man and persons of the same religion, and (iii) Relationship between man and persons of other religions. All religions teach the same thing for (i) and (ii) ­but iii) is the cause of conflicts between the two major monotheist religions Islam and Christianity(mainly Vatican Pope's Catholics) and other religions. Islam due to its concept of "Ummah"(Muslim-Brotherhood) does not believe in borders and Nationalities. An incident of cartoons of Prophet Mohammad in Sweden September, 2005, caused widespread Muslim protests all over the world just by heresay without verifying the nature and reality of the news. In India also, the so called Muslim minority rose en-block and in their protests attacked even lives and properties of Hindus and other non-Muslims in some places like Hyderabad, Lucknow. Our Western educated intellectuals so called secularists al1d English media joined in these protests. Some State Governments, Central Government and political parties also expressed their loyalty. Central Government quickly intervened recently in Gujarat when one road-side Durgah was touched though several temples had also been demolished after obtaining specific approval from the High Court. What about love and sympathy for the so-called Hindu Majority? How many heinous crimes there have been in the last few years and are still being committed against the majority by militant Muslims, with active or tacit support from within India and abroad. Demolishing of Bamian Budha in Afghanistan; Old heritage temples in Malaysia, Bangladesh and Pakistan; Akshardhan in Gujarat, Raghunath temple in Janimu; Kashi-Vishwanath-Varanasi, Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims Ayodhya and several temples in Kashmir Valley and other places, Ethinic cleansing in Doda and Jammu by repeated massacres; serial bomb blasts in crowded trains in Mumbai; and attacks on our festivals and busy places all over India; even Parliament has not been spared. If we go back in History's 10 centuries of Horrors on Hindus and other non-Muslims, the list is unending. Historian Konraad Eist in his book, “Negationism in India," quotes, Professor K. S. Lal, who calculated that Hindu population decreased by eighty millions between year 1000 and 1525. Destruction of temples and massacres continued, most horrifying during rule of Aurangajeb (1658-1707) of Hindus and Sikhs particularly till the British took over in Nineteenth Century. For once then in spite of several ills, Hindus got a level playing field as Muslim rulers-overnight-also became slaves. The so called Muslim minority can suddenly turn into a vast majority on any Friday if even one Moulvi, from the pulpits of thousands and Lacs of mosques, spread all over India and abroad, gives by mistake or evil intentions, a call for Jihad that "Islam is in danger" due to some incident somewhere. Shri R. N. P. Singh " an Ex Intelligence Officer in his book, " Riots and wrongs - Islam & Religious Riots", based on a case study starting 18th century has revealed that" for every riot and conflict ­Muslims were the starting cause." To-day after six decades of India's independence, Muslims are again becoming cause of cruelties on Hindus due to benevolence of our own politicians, democratically elected by us to, give us fair and good governance. To please and appease the minority for their selfish motives of Vote-Bank and power, after every attack on Hindus, our leaders shed only crocodile tears by repeating like parrot that, " we will not be cowed down by such incidents meant to divide us", showing own cowardice they call the devilish attacks as acts of cowards. On ground realities, based on religion alone Hindus are a Minority in India, who have one to one spiritual relation with God-each with his/her own "Isht Devta - but have respect for all gods in all forms as stated by Lord Krishna in Geeta - Chapter IV. As per Doctor B.R. Ambedkar, "Hinduism is a commonwealth of religions". Hindus though in vast majority(83%) in India have never been able to unit and give public support to anyone faith, even against MF Hussain's nude paintings of Bharat Mata and our goddesses as is seen among Muslims. Supreme Court, when challenged by a petitioner ruled that, “Hinduism is not a religion. It is way of life." To save further dismemberment of the country and prevent damage to its ancient culture of tolerance and pluralism, it is high time to correct short-comings in our constitution to make it truly uniform and secular for all without favour or discrimination to anyone religion, caste or creed. However, Muslims ask for special dispensations, speak of democratic human rights and secularism when as brothers in "Ummah”, they do not apply such norms in their 57 Islamic countries. They have only Islamic laws and non-Muslims are made to live there as Zimmis (2nd-3rd class citizens) with lot of restrictions. Muslims worldwide and more so in India have a tendency to live in clusters. Once they reach substantial number (around 20-30%) - they start demanding separation complaining that they cannot live with others as they want their Islamic laws. For them the places they live, outside Islamic States, are Dar-UI-Harab (land of struggle) and ordained by their religion - over-time must be converted into Dar-ul-Islam (Land of peace). It is hoped that our leaders will try to understand the serious implications of minority appeasement for personal gains by using them as vote-banks. Muslims have religious compulsions and they will never vote and or side with anyone which goes against their religion. Minority-Majority debates therefore should be frozen once for all and constitution amended with larger interests for the stability of the country. Our country has survived onslaughts for millennia and we still have the potential to do so- unless our own Netas want to destroy due to ignorance, narrow myopic vision. 1.
